Pricing
At Charlie Garlick Electrical Services, I believe in honest, transparent pricing with no hidden charges.
Every electrical project is different. Whilst many installations can be provided on a fixed quotation, other work such as electrical alterations, additions, fault finding and larger installations can vary depending on the existing installation, customer requirements and any unforeseen issues discovered during the work.
Where a fixed quotation has not been agreed before work commences, labour will be charged using the standard rates below.
Standard Labour Rates
Up to and Including First Hour: £75.00
Thereafter: £45.00 per hour
Full Day (up to 8 hours on site): £300.00
For work expected to occupy a full working day, the full day rate will normally apply in preference to hourly charging.
Emergency Call Outs
Where possible, I will always do my best to assist customers requiring urgent electrical assistance on the same day as contacted.
Emergency call-outs are subject to my availability and cannot always be guaranteed.
Emergency Call-Out Charge (Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm): £100.00 (includes the first hour on site)
Thereafter: £55.00 per hour
Evening, Weekend and Bank Holiday emergency call-outs are available by prior agreement and are charged at an enhanced rate depending on the day and time of attendance.
Where replacement parts or materials are required, these will be charged separately.
Materials
Materials supplied by Charlie Garlick Electrical Services are charged separately. Prices include a modest handling and procurement margin to cover sourcing, collection, warranty support and stock management.
Fixed Quotations
Fixed quotations are available for many types of electrical work and can be provided upon request.
Where no fixed quotation has been agreed prior to work commencing, labour will be charged at the standard rates shown above.
Additional Work
Should additional work be requested, or the scope of the original works change after work has commenced, any additional labour and materials will be charged separately unless otherwise agreed.
Payment
Payment is due by the date shown on the invoice unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
